Welcome!
At True Art of Serenity Consulting, we believe that growth begins with safety — safety to reflect, to learn, and to lead with awareness. Whether you are an individual leader or part of a larger organization, the work of building healthy systems starts with understanding how our experiences shape the way we communicate, perform, and connect.
Through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, we create spaces where insight leads to action, and where self-awareness becomes a foundation for resilience, collaboration, and sustainable success.

My Story
Marquisha Dunston, LCSW, is a mental health consultant, speaker, and trauma therapist with over 15 years of experience bridging clinical expertise with organizational strategy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, she brings a systems-informed, culturally responsive approach to leadership development, burnout prevention, and communication transformation.
Through her Trauma-Informed framework and evidence-based practices, Marquisha helps individuals and organizations move beyond surface-level wellness initiatives toward sustainable culture shifts. Her work integrates self-awareness, identity development, trauma-informed leadership, and practical communication tools to enhance both individual resilience and team performance.
A former collegiate athlete and advocate for mental health equity, she specializes in translating clinical insight into actionable strategies that strengthen leaders, teams, and institutions.

Services
Every person & every system tells a story.
The way we lead, communicate, and respond under pressure is shaped by experience — both individual and collective. Through a trauma-informed and systems-based approach, I partner with organizations to cultivate self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and sustainable wellness practices that strengthen both culture and performance.
This work is not about fixing people. It is about understanding patterns, restoring clarity, and building environments where resilience can grow.
